A washed Caturra by producer Humberto Calderon from Finca Buena Vista in Huila, Colombia. This coffee stands out for its tasting notes of orange and pear with a marshmallow creamy and sweet finish.
This particular coffee is double fermented. Once it has completed its fermentation cycle, the coffee is given a single light wash to allow the coffee to remain with as much mucilage as possible to contribute to the sweetness of the coffee as well as to avoid water waste. Don Humberto then dries the coffee using marquesina for up to 15 days.
