David and Eddy Solano are fourth generation coffee farmers from Guatemala. On Concepion Buena Vista, the brothers grow exceptional coffee on a small scale. Our interest was particularly aroused by the brothers' enthusiasm for new processing methods. You can taste that drive to constantly deliver better quality in this coffee. After picking, the coffee cherries are placed in an airtight fermentation tank. This addition to the processing process gives the coffee berry a distinctly sweet taste and notes of cinnamon.
